PACCAR Diesel Engine Fault Codes

PACCAR Inc., the parent company of Kenworth and Peterbilt, produces the MX-13 engine in collaboration with DAF Trucks. The MX-13 uses a high-pressure common rail fuel system operating at pressures exceeding 2,500 bar — significantly higher than traditional diesel systems. This makes fuel rail pressure fault codes (SPN 1077) particularly critical. PACCAR engines use both standard J1939 codes and proprietary PACCAR codes accessible through DAVIE diagnostic software.
